Fishing in the rain. Eating the seafood that u find on the shore during low tide. Row a sampan. Swim in ur own back yard. Wave to sampans passing by. Buy stuffs calculating how much rupiah is in sing dollars.
Ive been at
Pulau Lengkang for 3 days living as an orang laut.. Means your house dont touch the main land.. High tide 2 times a day.. Can see Singapore from our house.. Rubbish bin? sea. Toilet? sea. Bathe? sea. But only bathe when the tide is going up so the shitty stuffs dont get pushed to where ure bathing.. Shopping was only at
Belakang Padang island, and it was is great fun.. Find lotsa interesting things.. And not just the ones u can buy.. U can find where all ur rubbish bins went to.. And kretek is cheap..
Sampan is fun.. Yamaha engines are commonly used.. Sometimes u see the ones who are better off driving the speed boats.. When i first saw em i was thinking "wah grand theft auto sia" And and the shopping market there was an arcade, also wif grand theft auto game, but in indonesian language! Wohoo.. I was thinking "that kid only has $205 in the game, he must be thinking thats not even 10cents!" hahaa..
Just when we were enjoying the night view of Singapore, there was suddenly some fire works.. Tink sum1 was finishing off his fireworks form CNY.. Coz the timing was random and there wasnt much.. No, it wasnt a ship flare coz there were several colors..
Ppl there got nite life.. Low tide at 7pm+ to 9pm, u can see all the oil lamps out at "shore" (its not realli shore coz of the low tide and. . . well i dunno) And dangdut from 11pm to 3am.. Got dangdut also coz got alot of sg ppl come..
And i found out why indonesia dun wan sell sand anymore.. Well, im upset bout it too, coz due to the sand ship thingy, the sea life has been reduced to almost nothing.. Went fishing only got afew small fishes.. How are the people goin to survive?
Anw, we may have dunkin' donuts, they have
Dunia'n Donat, and its a registered brand.. 60 sg cents donuts.. Who's complaining? Any1 wan kretek?
