I was discomforted when she told me that i had just eaten a piece of paper.

My whole life changed and she made my day when she told me that written on the paper was "yes".

I love cars.. and i love driving.. but if a job makes u get sick and tired of doing the things u love, you know its bad for you, right? well atleast the job got me to experience to drive a bently, ferrari, lamborghini, and other cars which i may never even think of buying (no matter good or bad)

Wah tiring sia.. even now i know i shudnt be online, coz ive gotta sleep and wake up early tml to go to work.. What to do, when no work, complain so much.. eh ANY1 interested in working as a valet? full time/part time also can! need class 3 licence tho.. P Plate? This wont be the first time u would see me talking about unemployment rate, but since im one of the figures, and staying at home, might aswell i blog about it right? but anyway, will be going for a job interview at Jalan Buroh (8 bus stops away from Boonlay MRT!) (well, better than nothing, right?) so i hope its not for long that im unemployed..

No monay no hunnay, no funny, but got alot of time if ure not working.. But whats time when u dont have the money to do anything? even going out gets u worried coz ur EZlink has low value =P And if you do work, well for me atleawst, this is the only time i am FREE, totally, before uni starts, coz once it starts there'll be papers, and after uni there'll be work definitely..

So, to enjoy or work? mixture of both? but ure always losing something, or depends on how u see it, maybe ure gaining both at the same time?

Anw talking bout this, i read an article which was debating about euthanasia.. Kinda supported the one against it leh.. You as a human, well rather, the human life, has its ups and downs.. Doesnt mean that the ups are good, we take that and throw away the downs.. even sadness enriches our life, and is what makes happiness good.. Also, if a person is a vegetable or terminally ill, and has no use or benefits to any1, doenst mean that he should not live, as that suffering is also part of what we humans are..

Call me emo but i wanna give my uni degree my best.. okay, maybe this will die down n i'll slack abit, but thats y im blogging this so i can read it and remind myself.. I mean not just for me, but for my parents, and ppl around me..

Syafiq once told me he thought of changing course coz heard from ppl inside that engineering is difficult.. but if its something you like to do, then y not? Studying till death can make ur hair go white, but we can dye it back.. Ur eyesight can become bad, but we can wear glasses.. Ur health may be bad and u'll fall sick, but we can eat medicine n recover =D so lets do this n get that degree!

Zouk out 2008 was quite okay, wouldnt say fantastic, well maybe because the drinks there sucked big time.. its worse than 5% alcohol breezer or anything.. im not sure if its even 1% lo.. wasnt even a tad high.. in the end had to walk back all the way to 7-eleven to get a tiger.. and by the time we walked back already sweat it out -__-"

Ive went to the SITEX for the whole 4 days it was on.. Call me a tech nerd but yeah..

1st day- walked around, didnt buy anything coz was surveying.
2nd day- bought canon 450D DSLR
3rd day- didnt buy, surveyed for hard disk and thumbdrive
4th day- bought thumbdrive, internet security and hard disk

Woo! and i saw someone familiar, then i went up to her and asked "excuse me, do you live in woodlands?" and yeah she did, few blocks behind..

Me and naz was going up bus 858 when an old aunty said "excuse me"..
we then turned around and looked at her, then continued waiting to get up the bus.. then she asked again "are you taking the bus?"
like yeah, lady, we ARE, isnt that the reason why we're infront of you and not giving you way?

These are the few scenarios where courtesy (saying excuse me) would actually be rude.. Like when ure in an mrt and youre at the door waiting for the train to stop so you could get off, then someone at the back says "excuse me"
Excuse you? im gettin the hell outta here too, so since im infront of you, WAIT!

When ure in sch, or serving NS, you can always be sure that you're counting down to something..

To the next paper, to the end of papers, to your POP, to you ORD, to ur intake nito uni, to everything that have been burdening you or will change your life.. But what happends when ure done with that?

Well ofcourse, you can count down to your pay day, to your new car being registered, to you child being born, to your next birthday, to your retirement age and so on, but the amount of things you can count on is comparably less and spread over a few years as compared to you first 20 to 25 years of life..

Okay, while walking to Al-Ameen Woodgrove to buy some food, i met Shahril n Fahruddin.. They were ALSO going to Al-Ameen to eat.. When we reached Al-Ameen, we met Zufar and Ming Lin.. Omg.. Its like a sec sch reunion.. And all unintended ! What the bleargh! And also Shahril met Fahruddin while he was walking to Causeway point.. Also, Hizam came for a moment to pick Shahril up as they were going to play soccer at Jurong.. Well, a kopi session worth while =D

I called NUS up today and they infd me that in NOV our own admissions office, for my case, its Faculty of Engineering, will contact us to confirm that we're going in next year, and also ask if we want to go in the special term.. what a breather.. i thought that i'll go in oct coz there was a letter saying so, but i guess i read it wrongly? hopefully i'll go in august like what they informed me, coz there's only one intake per year.. well if so i'll have to rethink my post NS work plans..

It seems like singlehood has an adverse side effect, ESPECIALLY when you have a car, or bike.. Seems to me that my NS pay is going to the enhancement of my Axio and my time is spent driving it around and pampering it with sponge bathes and waxing..

Well atleast my Axio is grateful and do repay me back with high fuel efficiency and quite a high horse power, without any modification yet. So may i say that spending my time on my car have more rewards?

Well from tml onwards, I'll be taking 2B classes, so expect less of me online.. Also, with me working shift work, i have half of the time free.. So my number of free days are cut into half! argh.. but that doesnt make my NS life half as much..

Also, in NS, its harder to know ppl, other than those you work with.. My circle of friends dont grow and i dont go out with any new frens.. Most of the policemen i know who ARE married or have girlfriends, already had em BEFORE joining the force.. No time, No time..

Woo.. Cool huh.. Undercover officer.. Actually nothing undercover uh.. Altho we were in plain clothes, it was obvious that we were Police officers as we were guarding the hotel rooms.. Well there were 3 ministers in Marina Mandrin Hotel.. All were here for the ASEAN summit.. I was guarding the Minister of National Planning and Economic Development of Myanmar.. A very nicee guy.. And the hotel was GRAND.. Well except when it was 3am in the morn and the lift tends to be very noisy..
Its BIG ah.. Well atleast our hotel wasnt the type with small walkways that will make u very sleepy.. Open concept is also safer as we get to detect danger before it comes..

Yay.. Got my toyota Corolla Axio today.. Drove wif my sis from turf city, to woodlands to pick my mom up, then to amk to pick my dad up from work, then to jalan kayu to eat and back home! Hahaa woo.. The feeling of driving.. Finally can quench my thirst..

Well, when at turf city, we parked first to eat at the indian shop.. Then it was so dark when we came back, i tot to myself "y my car become a sports car?" hahahaa... Wrong car...

Woo.. Me, Fir, Samir, Glenn and an npc5 guy Ashriq got into Bukit Panjang Npc.. Well, so far we like it coz if there's alot of us in one npc, there's a high chance that we might get the same shift.. And another thing is that, from all our experience, we have never heard any1 complaining from bukit panjang npc! Haha.. So i think and hope its quite 'safe'...

Went RNB nite at MOS ydae.. It was funnnnn.. Went with giddy, yicheng, fir and his gf, hafiz *omg*, syful *omg* and yasin *omg*.. These ppl with *omg* are the least expected to go club uhh..

Hafiz said he have not been to a club, but when he opened his moves, WOOO... I think that's y ppl say "BOYAN POWER".. Altho he's small, disciplined and all, but when needed, he packs the punch..

But then, since he's so small built and cute looking, there came a gay guy who was suggesting somethings.. Hahahaaa!

Well i went joggin just now.. After the rain stopped.. Think i jogged about 3km around my housing estate.. Then stopped at a fitness corner beside a basketball court behind my house.. Well did some exercise and the girls there keep bouncing the ball to my side.. When i picked it up to give to her, she thanked me in mandrin.. It didnt sound like xiexie, more like giegie or jiejie.. Was that suppoed to be cute? Hahaa..

Well anyway there was a road show of cars behind my house.. The cars were all imported, not the ones u can find locally.. But the best deal is that u'll get the car in 2 weeks! Haha i shud try to bargain for accessories.. And most probly we're buying the corolla axio.. Wee..

Patrolling the night shift is damn bloddy tiring.. Or atleast thats what we all felt during our first night shift.. Quite a number of cases, even in the midst of night.. We have alot of nightcrawlers in the neighbourhood that have been adding a new meaning to the phrase "night life"..

This weekend, we will be patrolling the streets, as we have an attachment programme.. I will be at jurong west police center and jurong division head quaters.. The sad thing is that other people got woodlands npc.. I could have cycled there if i got it... =((((((

Well i just hope that i will get woodlands npc as my real post.. Anyway, the nintendo ds is degrading our (me, fir and hafiz's) social life in the bunk.. Its consuming us! I think we must not always play pokemon and shud change games at times so we wont look forward to playing it so much and will only play when we have too much free time.. Well atleast now we learnt to control it by some measure..

Im getting a nintendo ds! Well, practically, hafiz is helping me get it coz i cant go tml as i have 2 weddings to attend.. hurhur, not mine.. At first i did not like the idea of having a portable console as i wud still go home in the end.. BUT.... Ater knowing that ure in npco, u'll go through another 3months of boredom in HTA, i cant stand to let myself suffer.. Not like i have some1 to msg or call during my free hours.. Cant wait for my coporal pay.. Oh yah, speaking of which, most probly i get to be a Staff Assistant at HTA.. So my pay will be 470, coz there are no vocation allowances.. Which, i think, is better coz is i have the $50 or $100 extra allowance, my pay wud be more than $500, and there wud be cpf deducted and it wud actually be lesser, right?

Well anyway, even with my trainee pay i cant finish it.. Dont have the mood to shop.. Well, except for today.. Anyway, will snap more fotos of the squad for memories..

Woo.. Went for hockey dinner.. Then met my bunk mates..

For hockey dinner, we went to Sakura.. It was nice.. A wide variety.. But for 28 bucks, i wudnt go there often.. Anyway, speaking of the price, david came in a metal band tshirt.. And the stereotyping waiters n waitresses tot that he was e type who doesnt go there often and when he does, wud wanna make full use of it since it costs him 28 bucks.. Well, actually he IS that type.. But thats not the point.. They kept serving the ordered stuff to him even when he didnt order anything from that fried/bbq/not pre-cooked section..

Hmm i suddenly got blank.. Anyway, im using a 2G simcard.. But dunno y around 12:08 am just now, my reception changed from the antenna icon to 3G.. And it changed to and back several times.. Hmm...

That means we will POP in one months time.. Actually supposed to be 2 weeks more.. But due to the Police Day Parade, it was pushed back.. No more mangkuk!

Well anyway, for the past 2 weeks, we have been having water parade every night.. If its not water parade, its some Staff Assistant who ask the whole Coy to fall in just to check attendance.. pfft...

Although this has gone by in quite a while, but syful, my bunk mate, had girl probs.. While harry, our squad mate cum bunk-friend/food-eater gives him advices which change like the cosine curve, i told him: if she plays hard to get, you play hard to lose.. Hahaa.. Wonder if that would work..

Anyway, a matter agreeable to all: Innova JC's Year book sucks.. Well it shudnt be called a year book but a ... a ..... .... A year-simcard-shaped-phamplet, which has been due for a year.. The netball team is the volleyball guys.. Hockey has only one player.. Soccer guys have no face as they only show their pixeled backs in BOTH pics..

Well ive graduated..

Finally.. Blogger have been down last week so i couldnt update.. Well there are lesser ghost hauntings now.. Wait, did i mention bout the hauntings before? Well anyway, with instructors asking you "is that understand?" and many other degrading phrases, i think i wudnt have made it in GP if i went to NS first.. Hehee..

Police life is quite tough actually.. You have laws governing your behaviour and everything else.. And our presentation towards the public eyes must always be at our best.. And even when we are catching people, we must treat them with care, coz, afterall, they ARE Singaporeans whom we have sworn to protect..

Hmm.. Ive also been thinking about joining the force after i get my degree.. And with a degree, i can be an inspector or ASP easily.. Although i would need to go through the 9 months course, atleast its a stable job..

For the mean time, hope i can pass all the tests.. You wouldnt believe how many there are.. Almost everything that we learn is tested.. Both practical and theory.. Feels like school again..

Well, every much everything that happens in camp is protected under the Official Secrecy Act (OSA) so there are not much i can blog about.. Maybe about my gr8 squad mates..

Well, picture this, out of 35 people in your squad, there are 5 INNOVIANS.. And anyhting happens, there is a saying, " MUST BE AN INNOVIAN " well, it changed to somthing else later on, but stay with me for now..

It started and escalated when mastan always so nervous during the first rounds of dry practice for our revolver.. Then mastan slide every1 until even his own fellow innovian, austen, till austen dislocated his knee.. Then amin did not get his socks back from our FI, and told every1.. And got called tambi, mamak and so on by several instructors.. like i said, must be an innovian.. Any stinking mistake, or get picked on, is coz an innovian..

Police life is the shit man.. We are loving it.. So much so that even our instructor kept saying "this is ns uh?" when he cant think of anything else to let us do.. Its slack coz our Field instructor is goin to ord, so we are his last squad.. And our OC is new, so we are his first squad.. But when there IS training, its quite tough uh..

The most common and most used word in the academy is "mangkuk".. And we were tought alot more words.. We also learnt to handle our guns well.. Anyway, time for lights out..

Hold on.. Don't think that i don't like NS.. I have been looking forward to this opportunity to be serving the country and being a good countryman.. However, most people i chat with or read their blogs about mentioned "dreaded" or similar incantations about it.. I'm not mocking anyone either.. Just that i see no evil in it.. Well i went for this trial run, or rather, awareness campaign.. This product has been out in the USA since last year but its coming to SG next month.. And they figured out to give people like me *i dunno how they got my email* (maybe they know i have a blog and will blog bout it) a chance to try it out..

Well, my opinion on it is that it is SUPER helpful, as in it will tell you how far you have run without you needing to press any buttons.. There will be a voice that will prompt you every kilometer, when u reach your halfway mark of ur target (time based or distanced based) and how many minutes/kilometers left for you to run..

Plus points:
+ Helpful info
+ Can set targets by time, distance or calories desired to burn
+ Update your info online, with the ability to interact with other people using the same product ( there's a community)

Minus points:
- Only works with a nano (BAD)
- Only works with a Nike + (plus) shoe

Woo.. What a class chalet did we have.. If the people didnt bring what ever they brought, it may not have been as fun.. Like i brought the ps2, thomas brought his subwoofer and vodka, and kenny brought his 2 wines n 2 whiskeys..

Yeah there were screw ups, like i woke up at 3 alone and those who went out last didnt even switch off the os2 and close the doors, making me think that they vanquished or was vapourised.. Haha.. And i only woke up bcoz the management called to tell me to lock the door..

Okay, i did have some things to blog bout, but i can only recall one for now.. Dang..

Well, South View primary is in cck, and North View primary is in bp/ten mile there, so isnt south view abit north of north view? And vise versa? Or is it supposed to be that if u stand at south view, u shud face south and see north view? So ure getting the "northern view"? Hmmm..

Anyway, next week is my last week of employment with NEA.. Lucky i didnt stop earlier, coz next week school holidays! Haha.. Creep..

Narrowing down my choices.. Well NUS application is not open yet, but NTU is.. But NTU haunted ah.. And the only thing i wanna do there is Maritime Studies.. So yeah just apply for that at NTU and wait for NUS admissions.. Meantime, havta make up my mind what i want or CAN do..

So while im interested in compters, i dont think it can bring me far and wud rather take it as a hobby.. Well the screw driver and spannar have always been my buddy since young.. Maybe its meant to be? Well since last time my dad disapproves of me taking engineering, but now he suddenly say 'take engineering la'. . . so im like.. so totally confused now and tts y still need some time to make up my mind..

Woo.. What a day.. Or night.. Or morning.. Ahahaa.. Well basicly went out wif mai, syafiq and khai.. Was supposed to watch hanafi perform at ben n jerrys at the cathay.. But khai n syafiq went to beach road coz khai wanted to buy a shoe.. Then i asked ahmad along coz he said his frens pang sei him.. So i went out at 6.50pm.. Then mai called me and asked me to wait for her at admiralty at 7.30pm.. As if i had a choice, coz if not she mAi.. Like khai would khAi, maisarah mAi.. Hahaa.. Means she wont come if no1 accompanies her..

So anyhow, went to PS first and met ahmad and then khai n syafiq.. So we went to pizzahut to eat but it was full so we made a reservation.. But we walked to the cathay coz we tot tt it wud take hours coz we were 6th in line.. So just as we called hanafi to ask where he was, with ben n jerrys in sight, the pizzahut ppl called us and we went back to PS to eat pizzahut..

Well, in the end we didnt watch hanafi perform.. Hahaa.. So at pizzahut, ahmad makes a fool, as usual, and gave 2 waitress a wrong impression.. We laugh2 and he smile2 at em and made em tink tt we tink they r pretty untill they also giggle.. Hahaa! Well then i felt sumthing on my toes.. Tot it was my phone lanyard but then it was on the table.. When i looked down, it was a cockroach! Haha.. I wanted to step on it but we just informed the waitress bout it so tt e manager wud know bout their hygene standards.. Then the girl dun believe us and wanted to check it out herself, so she asked where.. Then every1 pointed to me and said "under him, down there" hahaa.. Then i tot, do NOT go down THERE! hahaha.. Then everything went chaotic and finally the cockroach was killed.. Hahah.. What a day..

So maisarah went home while the boys went to clarke quay.. Well wanted to sisha but they had a time limit there.. So went to arab street instead.. By then it was 11.30.. Then i asked kelvin (vjc) along.. Well altho he came at 1plus am, it didnt matter coz our sisha came damn late.. It was coz there wasnt any aparatus left.. Everytime we see the guy we asked "sisha?" then the guy asked back "u wan sisa? sisa sisa?" Hahha.. Even when he went toilet and syafiq n ahmad bumped into him we asked him "sisa sisa?"

So in the end reached home at 4am.. Woo.. Now time to worry bout university admissions..
